2. Scope and acceptance of the Terms

These Terms apply to the FourTables website, public booking interfaces and the FourTables administration and operations platform. By starting to use the service or by entering into a contract, the user/customer accepts these Terms as binding.

Any conflicting provisions of a subscription agreement or individual service agreement concluded with FourTables prevail over the general rules of these Terms.

FourTables is primarily a business and professional purpose service (B2B). By ordering the service, the Customer declares that it uses the platform in the course of its economic or professional activity. If mandatory consumer-protection rules apply to any contracting party, such mandatory rules prevail over any conflicting provision of these Terms.

3. Definitions

  • Service / Platform: the web-based reservation-management, table-map, CRM and campaign-support system provided by FourTables.
  • Customer: a restaurant, hospitality venue or organisation using the platform for business purposes.
  • User: a natural person acting on behalf of the Customer and holding access rights, such as an admin, manager or team member.
  • Guest: a natural person initiating a table reservation through a public booking interface.

4. Description of the service

FourTables provides a restaurant reservation-management and operations platform that may support, among other things, reservation handling, table and capacity management, guest-profile records, communication and CRM functions, reporting and related administrative functions. The specific feature set depends on the subscription plan, activated modules and any individual agreement.

5. Formation of the B2B subscription agreement

Information, package descriptions and prices shown on the website are for information purposes and do not in themselves constitute a binding offer, unless the service provider expressly states otherwise. A FourTables subscription or service agreement is typically formed through individual negotiation, order confirmation or confirmation by the provider after an online payment process.

Submitting the contact form or requesting a demo does not in itself create a service agreement.

Admin onboarding, provisioning or a trial period may be connected to the service. The trial period does not automatically constitute a paid subscription. If the Customer does not start and complete a successful subscription checkout or other accepted payment process by the end of the trial period, access may be restricted or suspended.

In the case of online self-service subscription, the contract is formed upon successful confirmation by Stripe Checkout or another accepted payment channel and/or activation recorded by FourTables for the selected plan and billing cycle.

6. Fees, billing and payment

Service fees are determined by the valid package prices, individual offer or separate agreement between the parties. Unless otherwise indicated, value added tax (VAT) is charged in accordance with applicable law.

Billing and payment may take place through electronic invoice, online payment provider or another payment method agreed individually. The current FourTables self-service payment flow may use Stripe Checkout and the Stripe customer portal.

  • Card and other payment data is typically entered on a Stripe-hosted page; FourTables does not store the full card number or CVC.
  • The Customer must provide accurate and up-to-date billing name, billing address, email, phone number, tax number and other billing/tax data and update changes without delay.
  • For subscriptions, the fee may be charged repeatedly on a monthly or yearly cycle until the Customer validly initiates cancellation through the relevant interface or with FourTables.
  • Cancellation generally works as termination scheduled for the end of the current billing period; access may remain active until the end of that period unless mandatory law or a separate agreement provides otherwise.
  • Cancellation does not automatically result in a partial or full refund for an already started period unless mandatory law, an individual written agreement or FourTables' express approval requires it.

In the case of failed payment, past_due, unpaid, suspected fraud, compliance review or persistent non-payment, FourTables may restrict access, partially suspend the service and take necessary debt-management or legal-enforcement steps within the limits permitted by law.

7. Customer and user obligations

  • providing and maintaining true, accurate and up-to-date data,
  • keeping access credentials confidential and reporting unauthorised access without delay,
  • using the service lawfully and as intended,
  • fulfilling controller obligations regarding the Customer's own guest data, especially reservation data,
  • lawfully preparing and publishing the restaurant's own policies, including cancellation, no-show, marketing consent and privacy information,
  • providing true and lawful billing/payment data required for Stripe checkout, billing and other external providers.

8. Prohibited use

  • unauthorised access, bypassing permissions or circumventing security controls
  • improper or abusive load on the service, automated querying or scraping without permission
  • transmitting malicious code, phishing, fraudulent or unlawful content
  • infringing third-party rights, especially data-protection, copyright or industrial-property rights

The service provider may stop unlawful or contract-breaching use, temporarily restrict or suspend access, and take necessary legal steps.

9. Special rules for public booking interfaces and guests

A booking made on a public booking page relates to the legal relationship between the guest and the relevant restaurant. FourTables generally provides the technology interface and is not the provider of the restaurant service. Booking, modification, cancellation, no-show and privacy rules defined by the restaurant may appear separately in the booking process and may be binding on the guest.

The guest must provide true and complete data. The restaurant and/or the service provider may delete obviously false, incomplete or abusive bookings or make them subject to confirmation.

Legal links shown on the public booking page may by default point to FourTables platform documents, but the Customer may also provide restaurant- specific privacy or contractual documents. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that its own restaurant policies and notices are lawful, up-to-date and properly accessible to guests.

10. Availability, maintenance and support

FourTables aims to keep the service continuous and secure, but temporary outages may occur due to maintenance, updates, external provider failures, network issues or force majeure. The provider may carry out planned maintenance and will provide advance notice where reasonably possible.

Support requests may be initiated at: sales@fourtables.app.

11. Data protection and data processing

Personal data is processed according to the separate Privacy Policy. Where the Customer processes its own guest data in the FourTables system, the Customer is generally the controller and FourTables acts as processor under applicable law and the parties' agreement.

FourTables may use Stripe services for payment and subscription management. Stripe's own data-protection role and practice may be governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy, the Stripe Privacy Center and, where applicable, the Stripe DPA. The controller/processor roles between FourTables and the Customer are determined by the parties' contract and the actual data flow.

12. Intellectual property and licence

The FourTables platform, its source code, graphical elements, interfaces, brand assets and documentation are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property rights. The Customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to use the service during the term of the contract, solely for its intended purpose.

13. Liability

FourTables is liable for the provision of the service within the framework of applicable law. The provider is not liable for damage caused by the Customer or a third party, incorrect configuration, inaccurate data entry, external provider outage, internet-connection failure or force majeure.

Detailed rules on the scope, limitation and exclusion of liability may also be included in the parties' individual agreement.

14. Term, termination and suspension

The duration of service use, notice period, renewal and technical/financial termination conditions are determined by the relevant subscription plan and/or individual agreement. In the event of serious breach of contract or unlawful use, the provider may suspend or terminate access with immediate effect.

Before termination or suspension, the Customer is responsible for exporting and archiving data it needs, where the FourTables interface or support makes this possible. After termination, FourTables retains, deletes or anonymises data according to legal retention obligations, security and audit requirements and the separate Privacy Policy.

15. Amendments to the Terms

FourTables may amend these Terms due to legal changes, service development, business-process changes or security reasons. The amended Terms become effective upon publication unless a law or separate contract requires a different notification process.

16. Complaints and contact

Contractual, operational or legal inquiries may be sent to sales@fourtables.app. The provider reviews and responds to incoming inquiries within a reasonable period.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and the use of the FourTables service are governed by Hungarian law, unless mandatory rules provide otherwise. The parties primarily seek to resolve disputes amicably; if this is unsuccessful, the Hungarian court with jurisdiction and competence shall proceed.
